Managing all of the aspects of a proposal submission can be a daunting task: juggling document revision control, task allocation, budget issues, deliverables, and milestones, not to mention concentrating on the formidable job of writing the considerable amount of text that makes up the body of the proposal. fpBuilder can greatly assist in this area by ensuring that all the components of the proposal are centrally held in our database, and accessible on line, all of the time, to all the partners in your consortium. No more confusion caused by people working on different versions of the same document, or basing their calculations on different budget expectations. However there are stages in the proposal process where interaction between all members of the group is required, and where the presence of an experienced moderator or project manager can be highly beneficial. Additionally, the benefits of having the progress of the proposal monitored on a regular basis by an outside expert can greatly assist in keeping the project effort focused and spotting problems early on in the process. fpBuilder provides a number of services in these areas:

Moderated Web Meetings: Why delay in meeting up with your prospective partners while you juggle appointment diaries, airline schedules, hotel bookings, and the expense associated with getting everyone in the same room? Also, why not utilise the services of an experienced Project Manager to moderate the meeting and ensure that the outcomes are in line with the project goals and time lines? We provide an on-line real time forum to hold project initiation and review meetings both pre- and post-proposal submission. We arrange the meeting, set up the data and voice streams, manage the meeting agenda, and offer advice and direction during the course of the meeting. Also, if you have hosted your proposal on fpBuilder, all of the proposal components will be available during the meeting and can be modified live as the meeting progresses.

Virtual Project Manager: Keep your proposal preparations on track by using the services of an experienced FP Project Manager on a regular basis to review the status of your proposal, and make recommendations to keep everything on track. Also, when resolving issues of difference between prospective partners, an independent voice can be invaluable in arriving at an early and equitable solution. Virtual Project Manager can be tailored specifically to suit your needs, however there are a number of standard packages to choose from which should address most situations.

-o-	Online Check Up: Once a week, we review all of the documents that you have created on the site and provide you with a checklist indicating your progress against our standard Time-Content metrics. We will also provide suggestions as to the areas requiring focus for the coming week.
-o-	Moderated Check Up: A weekly review of all the documents that you have created on the site in conjunction with all of the partners via a Moderated Web Meeting. At the end of the meeting we will provide meeting minutes, and a list of suggested areas requiring focus for the coming week.
-o-	Online Project Initiation: A Moderated Web Meeting in which partners meet for the first time to lay out the general direction of the project, assign initial tasks and responsibilities, draft some budget guidelines, and develop a project timeline. We provide the data and voice streams, sample meeting agenda, a suggested budget outline, blank on-line templates for tasks and responsibilities, plus a draft project timeline and GANTT chart.
-o-	Less frequent check ups are also available, however this is generally not a good idea, as the frequency of check ups tends to be reflected in the timeline of the project. If however, you requirements are for less frequent check ups, please note that different pricing will apply as we will generally have to review a larger body of work at each period.
